    My artifact is my iPhone. My iPhone is iPhone13. There are 11 different colors in the iPhone 13 series. The color of my iPhone is midnight. This color is like night sky, so this is not black, it’s a little bluish. Also, the iPhone 13 series comes in three sizes. My iPhone is medium size and the screen size is 6.1 inches. When I was in my third year of high school, my old iPhone 7 broke, so I bought a new one. The timing of my iphone breaking was very bad, and I was in trouble at that time. 

    When I graduated from high school, I had plans to buy a new iPhone. However, in February of my third year of high school, my iPhone suddenly stopped connecting to the Internet. At that time, I had to go to various prefectures for university entrance exams, so I was in trouble if I could not use my iPhone. I took a lot of university entrance exams, so my family didn't have that much  money at that time. At that time, the iPhone 13 was the newest model, so the price was higher than the iPhone 12. However, I really wanted an iPhone 13, so I asked my mother.

“ I really want an iPhone 13, so can you buy it for me?  I'll put up with anything else I want.”

My mother then replied:

“It can’t be helped.”

My mother bought me an iPhone13. I was very happy. I transferred the data from my previous iPhone, so I still have photos from when I was in junior high school. It have a lot of memories so far, so I would like to use them carefully from now on.

 

 

　　The iPhone was developed by Apple and first released in the United States in July 2007. The first iPhone was not released in Japan. The second iPhone was sold in July 2008 and was also released in Japan. In September 2022, the iPhone 14 was released, and various functions have evolved compared to the first iPhone. Every time a new iPhone was released, the design, color, size, shape, and picture quality evolved. iPhone has evolved a lot, but I think it will continue to be developed to satisfy the needs of consumer.

　　iPhones running iOS are used all over the world. Looking at the Japanese smartphone market, iPhones with iOS account for about 66%, and Android smartphones with Android OS account for about 34%. More than half of the people in Japan use Apple iPhones, but from a global perspective, that is not the case. Looking at the global OS share, Android is about 72% and iOS is about 28%.　In Japan, as a result of many major companies competing for services, the discount systemsis welldeveloped, making it easy to get an iPhone. However, Android priced cheaper than iPhone in overseas, so it's easier for people to get. I think that as the economic development of developing coutries progresses, the smartphone market will expand further and the iPhone share will increase.
